David F. Tibor

A Difference Maker for California Employees

After almost a decade in a large employment practice involving him in over a hundred cases at any given time, David reshaped his career at the beginning of 2018 by founding his own boutique firm where he is looking to build lasting relationships with his clients by limiting the number of cases and handling every aspect of each of those cases personally.  Because of this workload in his previous positions, he was able to develop the experience and knowledge that he needed to make a difference.  THE TIBOR LAW FIRM, A.P.C. is a firm where every client is made to feel special instead of just another number. By limiting the number of cases that are taken on at a single time, David will make sure that the personal attention that you need is met and provided at all stages during your employment case.

Experience You Can Count On

David is a seasoned employment attorney representing both private and public sector employees, as well as high level executives, minimum wage workers, and everyone in between.  You’ll find that David is not looking for the highest value case, but more importantly he’s looking for a person an employer wronged and a person who he can help.  Since the beginning of his legal career in 2004, David has fought for employees against the largest corporations represented by the largest law firms and continues to obtain millions of dollars each year for his clients.  From Shasta County to San Diego County, he has represented clients in California’s trial courts and appellate courts, Federal District Courts and the United States Courts for the Ninth Circuit, arbitrations, and various other government administrative forums.  David’s peers have recognized his hard work and dedication to the rights of employees by selecting him as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyer magazine from 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015, an honor based on the review of other lawyers and available to only 2.5% of eligible attorneys in California.  More recently, David’s peers have continued to recognize his efforts and achievements for his clients by selecting him in the same publication as a “Super Lawyer” in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.

Trust & Understanding You Need

Much like you are not just a case, David is not just a lawyer.  David has developed the mission of THE TIBOR LAW FIRM, A.P.C. to be centered on you, the individual.  He prides himself on understanding the importance of employment to the individual and how the loss of a job impacts individuals both financially and emotionally, along with their families and their relationships with others.  Life is too short and time is too precious to let employers unlawfully interfere, disrupt, or damage.  David is also a father, husband, son, and friend which is why he fights to preserve that every single day for every single client that he takes on.

Outside of the practice of law, David has found volunteering for community projects as another positive approach to meet individual needs in a profound way.  Currently David is fortunate to serve on the board of directors for ONEgeneration, a unique non-profit organization committed to enriching the lives of seniors and children through intergenerational services and programs.  David is also on the honorary board of the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers’ Charities, a California non-profit devoted providing financial assistance to needy persons and groups in the Los Angeles area.  When not working, David enjoys spending time with his family, as most Southern California natives, outdoors, in the yard or in the waves, or on the soccer field watching his older daughter compete or coaching his younger daughter’s team.

THE TIBOR LAW FIRM, A.P.C. values what it is fighting to get back for you.  If you think that you may have a case against your employer, your manager, supervisor, or even your co-worker, then you should not wait any longer to get the respect that you deserve.  Contact THE TIBOR LAW FIRM, A.P.C. today to make your appointment and see if you have a case that David can fight for.
